Advent calendars often with intervention on the right
In most advent calendars, the door has the finger opening on the right side, so that the right-handed person can easily press in the perforation with his index finger and tear open the door.
If the handle were placed at the top of the door, it would be equally usable for left- and right-handers.
The left-handed person always has to turn the calendar upside down in order to be able to open the door easily.
