Manual coffee grinder

Many coffee grinders have what is known as a conical grinder which breaks up and grinds the coffee beans conically in tapering prongs. The structure of the teeth means that these coffee grinders must always be turned clockwise.

This is impractical for left-handers, because their natural direction of rotation is to the left, i.e. counter-clockwise.
