Pillar drills can usually only be operated from the right side!

Almost 100% of pillar drills are built exclusively for right-handed people. The biggest drawback is the control for lowering the drill. This makes work more difficult for left-handed people, especially when it comes to work that requires fine motor skills and where you don't just drill through but have to drill or lower to a certain depth.
